Zyrdunas Ilgauskas was born June 5, 1975 in Kaunas, Lithuanian SSR, Soviet Union.  He currently plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers.  His nickname has been “Z”, given to him by the other players because of his long name.  He is 7’3” and 260 lbs. which makes him the second tallest player in the NBA, behind Yao Ming. Ilgauskas played for his home club team, Atletas Basketball Club in Kaunas, Lithuania.  He also played with the Lithuanian National Team in a game against the University of Kentucky at Rupp Arena on November 22, 1994 and was the leading scorer with 26 points and the leading rebounder with 19 rebounds.
